Meeting the HR transactional and payroll requirements for educational settings

Dorset’s HR/Pay Service provides a comprehensive service with the prime objective of paying people accurately, on time and reflecting the correct contractual relationship between the employee and the employer.

 
The following features will be incorporated into the standard service delivery for 2019/20 where applicable:
 

Changes in statutory payment rates, NI thresholds, changes to auto- enrolment bandings, tax bands, tax allowances, student loan band changes, Scottish tax rates.

Assimilation across to the new NJC pay and grading structure, where applicable

Case law relating to annual leave and individuals working term time only to ensure they receive the statutory requirement

Rate adjustments when someone terminates their employment or where there is a contractual change part way through a year.

Implementation of the changes to Teachers Pay and Conditions for September 2019

Introduction of the monthly contributions reconciliation process in line with Teachers Pensions
