Offering a rich and exciting early years curriculum
For our third annual Early Years Conference we have invited two national speakers to share their passion and knowledge for their subjects; creativity, music and woodworking. Pete Moorhouse who is just finishing a new book on woodwork in the early years and is completing research for the University of Bristol on the importance of supporting creativity in our youngest children. Steve Grocott a professional musician, composer and teacher who specialises in music for young children and will, I’m sure, inspire us with many new ideas to share in our settings.
1.To understand the importance of supporting children’s creativity 2. To feel confident to use music to support the learning and development of all children 3.To see the potential of introducing children to woodwork
Tea and coffee will be provided but delegates will need to bring their own lunch.
Free parking is provided in the grounds of County Hall past the barrier, BUT delegates should ensure they do not park in the car park opposite the main entrance to county hall.
