An afternoon session for reception class teachers to come together, peer moderate Writing (bring same children as Autumn Term to see progression). Please bring writing evidence and any communication and language evidence you need to for 3 children.
There will also be updates from the sector.
To peer moderate writing To discuss and share best practice in Communication and Language To discuss actions and strategies to support children’s progress To gain understanding of any updates in the sector
Please bring TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COURSE YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A RANGE OF ‘MARK MAKING / WRITING’ (as much as you have) FOR 3 FOCUS CHILDREN (i.e. one below / one in line / one higher or above typical levels of attainment in writing on entry to school his year).
NB: THE PROGRESS OF THE SAME 3 CHILDREN’S WRITING WILL BE TRACKED ACROSS THE YEAR AND PEER MODERATED ALONGSIDE OTHER SCHOOLS’ EVIDENCE AT THE SPRING AND SUMMER TERM MEETINGS
Also bring any evidence, be prepared to talk through evidence, for Communication and Language for those same 3 children.
