A one day conference lead by Sir John Dunford, the government’s Pupil Premium Champion

Description

A one day conference lead by Sir John Dunford, the government’s Pupil Premium Champion. He will lead the morning session, inspiring leaders across Primary and Secondary schools to raise attainment of disadvantaged children. There will be a focus on removing the barriers to success for children in receipt of PP funding and on seeing impact of spending. The afternoon session will be a series of case studies from visiting schools sharing good practice. Two of these schools are PP Award winners (a secondary and primary school) and there will be a case study on supporting Looked After Children and a focus on social, emotional and mental health support.

Outcomes

To reflect on provision for disadvantaged children, explore new ideas, hear best practice and current research.
