This one-day course aims to equip you with a detailed understanding of domestic violence and abuse and respond effectively to this issue, within the local safeguarding context. Roadside parking is available along the length of Sandford Lane BH20 4DY for free but can be very busy. There is a pay and display car park at the train station, a short walk from the centre. Alternatively, please consider using the train, as the station is very convenient for this venue. The Purbeck Centre is a 5-minute walk from the train station BH20 4AS The training rooms are on the 1st floor with access at the side of the building. Refreshments: There is a drinks-vending machine in the kitchen, with a selection of drinks at 50p per cup - please bring some change. For all- day courses, please be prepared to bring your packed lunch.
