LSCB Level 3 Safeguarding Training is changing to 1 day in length.

 

From September 2018 LSCB Level 3 Initial Safeguarding will change from being 2 days to 1 day in length. This decision has been made by the LSCB after consultation with partner organisations and reflects the need to adapt training to suit the requirements of the children's workforce across Dorset. The LSCB will in due course be publishing details of addition al courses which will be offered to support practitioners and managers in safeguarding roles.

 

 

 

NEW Online Training

 

Virtual college are offering a range of short, free online training courses to support parents and professionals working with children. Please access these courses and share with colleagues and teams as appropriate.

 

Understanding Young Minds

 

Suitable for parents and professionals. This online course, 'talking to your children about emotional resilience and self harm', has been designed to provide you with a basic awareness of the subject to help you approach children with confidence about the issue.
